In her old school, Qianyi’s left cheek used to be scratched and pinched a few times by an aggressive girl. Her teachers told me they didn’t know how and when it took place because she didn’t cry at all.
Today, her left cheek’s injured again in her current school. According to her teacher, James, a plump and clumsy angmoh boy suddenly hugged her and made her slip during their sing-and-dance session. She fell down and her left cheek knocked against the floor. She cried this time. She cried for quite a while. It must be very painful. My heart ached when I saw the bruise.
When I told Hubby about this incident, he asked, “Why did he hug her? Does he like her so much?”
We went to East Coast beach yesterday around 6pm. Qianyi enjoyed playing in both the sand and water. It’s really a great place to relax with loved ones.
We brought along her sandplay toys. My little girl was so happy playing with the sand.
It’s like a huge play area with lots of activities. There were many families with young kids around.
Qianyi loved running along the beach with me. It was great fun for her when I was chasing after her.
We had our dinner at McDonald’s. She didn’t eat much because there’s a playground.
Qianyi is not well today. She’s been feverish since yesterday evening. She didn’t go to school and missed the cookery session. The kids were introduced to the “sandwich song” today that they sang while preparing their sandwiches. Oh how fun…
I’ve just received some snapshots from her school via email. They were having sand play on Wed. Qianyi loves outdoor activities. I know she must have been very excited when she was playing with the sand. The girl in red hat is my little princess.
She was singing “Itsy Bitsy spider” but it doesn’t sound right. Most kids her age can talk and sing very well. It doesn’t matter. I love to hear her sing. It’s very entertaining and she looks so cute when she’s singing!
One-week term break is finally over. “Back to school” means “back to routine”. It’s great that school has started. During the holidays, both Hubby and I felt very tired especially during bedtime because the little one always refused to sleep and kept wanting us to play with her. We should have signed her up for the holiday programs so that she wouldn’t feel so bored at home.
There’s a note from her teachers in the communication book today.
Welcome back! Hope you had a great time during the holidays. Qianyi had a great time. She missed Paulo very much. They were playing together all day today. She seemed settled and happy.
When Hubby picked us up from school on the last day of the previous term, he met Paulo for the first time. He helped him put his shoes on. I remember he said something funny to our daughter, “Look, your boyfriend doesn’t know how to put his shoes on. Daddy has to help him!”
Qianyi’s first term (Term 3) at her new school was fun and enjoyable.
This is an interesting painting session. Rolling the balls across the paper was fun! Her clothes was really dirty although she was wearing an apron.
Qianyi brought home some cookies she made in school. Both of us enjoyed the yummy cookies very much. We let Hubby have a bite only…haha…
Qianyi (far left) was painting a dinosaur.
There are 3 teachers in her class. The girl in red with her back facing the camera is my little angel.
Here’s a token from us on Teacher’s Day. Her teachers told us they shared the chocolate with the rest of the school teachers.
The kids enjoyed water play very much.
Qianyi loves outdoor activities a lot. Here’s a photo of her (the girl in red hat) with Teacher Reena and her little friends.
Term 3 ended with Purple Party. It falls on “Be Yourself Day” (a special day where we have the freedom to plan or do anything at all). She was the only kid in purple attire. I attended the party too in my purple top. I joined in for the fun of games and music. It was fun!
We received a souvenir from The Olive 3 yesterday. That’s actually a picture of me, Qianyi and the man who played the saxophone.
Qianyi was quite scared when the Music Messenger started playing the romantic tune for me. She ran off and watched him from far. When we were posing for a photo, she hugged me tightly.
It’s our 10th wedding anniversary today. Hubby SMS-ed me this morning to make sure I’d be home at 2 because there’s a surprise for me. I was looking forward for a lovely bouquet.
A lady pressed our door bell around 2. After handing me a bouquet of roses, she told me, “There’s another surprise for you!” Then a guy in black appeared with a a golden saxophone. He started playing the romantic tune “Tonight I celebrate my love” at my doorstep! Aw…I felt so young at that moment… That’s a real surprise…and it’s so romantic. Thanks Hubby!!
Time flies. We’ve been married for 10 years! Here’s our wedding photo taken 10 years ago. It appeared on a newspaper. Look at the old-fashioned wedding gown and veil… I was pretty skinny back then.
I don’t know what to say on our anniversary. I only managed to make a card when the little one was taking her nap. I love you dear…Thanks for being my hubby!
