I’ve got a daughter, everything’s ok. That’s what my best friend told me during CNY.
Forget about the stress, our long taxi trip to the therapy centre and the speech therapy exercise or activities I need to do with her at home. I was over the moon when the speech therapist told me my girl has improved well.
There’s still a long way to go. This will not be a smooth ride. I’m sure it will be very bumpy.
As long as she’s improving, I”m happy enough.
I love you, darling… Mummy is here for you always.
Chiaki has sweet chubby cheeks. Qianyi loves to pretend to be Chiaki. She would put two grapes into her mouth to make fake chubby cheeks. She would say, “Chiaki fat fat!”
We had a quiet Valentine’s Day at home because Hubby’s been busy preparing for his upcoming exams.
Our princess brought home a Valentine’s necklace she made at school. She gave it to her beloved BJ. Two young Malay girls knocked on our door to sell some handmade flowers. They told us their mother was ill. We bought one bouquet because we pitied them. It’s good to have some flowers on Valentine’s Day anyway..haha..

Here are the gifts I received, it’s a diamond bracelet with matching earrings and a pink iPod shuffle (so that I won’t be bored while shuttling Qianyi to and from school)… I didn’t buy him a present this year but I made a card for him…heehee… Hope my dear hubby will pass his exams!

My little princess turned 5 today! She loves her toy, BJ a lot nowadays. She would sleep with it and bring it to school (she would pass it to me at the school entrance). BJ would follow us wherever we go. We knew she would love her birthday cake.
She had a birthday celebration at school this morning. I sent in my camera so that the teachers could take some photos for me because parents were not allowed to attend the party.
From the photos below, I’m sure my darling had a good time celebrating her birthday with her teachers and friends.

Her teacher made a time line of Qianyi, showing everybody her photos at birth, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 4 and a half years old.

She enjoyed herself very much during circle time…

Some photos of her doing stuff on her own and enjoying birthday cake with her friends.

Happy birthday Princess… Lots of hugs and kisses from King and Queen!
We bought a bu-dao-weng (不倒翁) in Malacca when we were taking a break on our way to KL during CNY. Qianyi sang the song happily while hitting the bu-dao-weng later in the hotel lobby. She’s not shy at all with so many strangers around

Queen’s turning 38 today..but King told her, “40 is the new 20!” So, Queen’s actually still very young..18 only..hahaha…
Princess sang the birthday song with her very sweet voice. That’s the best birthday gift Queen received this year.
The Swensen’s ice-cream cake King brought home last night is very yummy. Thanks King!
But Princess also gave Queen another present this mornig. She wet the bed. She finished a bottle of milk and drank lots of water last night. Before she went to bed, she was trying hard to pee. She told Queen, “Wait for shh shh… No shh shh.” It’s the first time she wet the bed. Hope it’s the last time.
My own LV Monogram Canvas Etoile Shopper!

Happy 牛 Year to everybody!
We went back to Malaysia on the eve of CNY. We left home around 10am. There’s no jam at Tuas Checkpoint.
I was very happy to see all my family members especially the nephews and nieces whom I didn’t see for 1 year. Qianyi can remember their names this time and she’s willing to say Happy New Year to some of them.

Qiqi, who calls Qianyi “gugu” ( 姑姑) can talk very well now. Although she’s 2 years younger than Qianyi, their weight is almost the same. Qianyi’s just slightly heavier than her. My little darling enjoyed playing with her. She was trying to speak some Mandarin to her too because Qiqi doen’t speak English.

We visited Kluang Mall, a new mall in my hometown, Kluang. We paid RM4 for Qianyi to play in the big playground for 2 hours. Hubby stayed with her while my sister, nephew and I did some shopping together. After running around for 1 hour, she was tired and asked Hubby, “Where’s Queen?”

We went to KL on the 3rd day of CNY. We stayed at Traders Hotel near KLCC. Breakfast and broadband internet were provided.

My best friend SP came to the hotel to meet up with us. We had a great time catching up in the hotel’s restaurant.

Here are some photos taken at Hakka Restaurant near our hotel. We were having dinner with Hubby’s godparents and godsister.

Before we left KL, we managed to meet up with SF, my long lasting friend since primary school.
