Qianyi received her first ever flower stalk today. Alvin’s glad her first flower is from Daddy and not some obscure boy haha. We were having a nice dim sum lunch at the Golden Peony @ Conrad when Qianyi got pretty upset because she wasn’t allowed to tinker with the nice exotic orchid that was part of the table deco. Well to make up for this, Daddy bought a nice replacement at the wonderful florist in Millenia Walk. As you can see, Qianyi was very happy with her gift.

While at the florist, we noticed a nice arrangement being made ready, we asked about it and it turns out that the singer Stephanie Sun has ordered it for Aaron Kwok as best wishes for his Singapore concert. Don’t you think it’s quite unique?

Hubby’s on leave today. We managed to enjoy a little bit of couple time as our darling daughter was at the kindergarten until 3.30pm.

In the morning, we went to Coffee Bean to enjoy some nice coffee and my favorite tiramisu. It’s good to have some quiet moments.

We went shopping for clothes.. It’s great to do this without the princess around. We managed to buy something for ourselves…nothing for the little one..haha..

Having full body massage was the highlight of today. It’s my first time! I really didn’t know what to do when I entered the room. First, I was told to take off all my clothes and put on the disposable panties. Then, I wrapped myself up with a towel before the masseur came in.

It’s terrific to enjoy an hour of relaxing full body massage! Oh, it’s really nice..wish it could be longer..heehee..

I started my dumbbell exercise last week..wanna tone up my arms..

I jogged on my treadmill, listening to the songs that are super energetic and upbeat from my iPod.

I went swimming.. Although it’s very sunny in the morning, it’s alright.. I’ve applied lots of sunblock.

I’m looking around for some dance class.. Haven’t decided what I should go for.. I prefer those with sexy movements. This is a fun and exciting way of staying fit.

I want to be a sporty mama! :)

Hubby came home before there’s influenza A ( H1N1) outbreak in Japan..what a relief!

During his 4 days in Tokyo, he didn’t have time to go shopping.. So, he had to get us the gifts from the airport..

Qianyi’s very happy to receive her gifts..

I like mine too..

Thanks Hubby… :)

We went back to my hometown yesterday. I baked a butter cake the night before and brought it back with me…

When my niece handed my dad a piece of butter cake, he asked where it was from.. My niece told him, “Your daughter baked it.” He smiled.  :)

Later, I gave him another piece..

The cake tastes great and yummy.. I was happy that everybody loved it..

My sweetie darling is willing to say I Love U now.  She said “I love you Po Po” to Hubby’s godmum on the phone.  She said “I love you jie-jie” to Su Lee too.

When she said I Love U to me, I told her to kiss me. When she kissed me, I asked if she could make the “muack” sound.. Heehee, she gave me Muack!!

When Hubby called from Tokyo last night, she didn’t talk much to him…just “I love you Daddy…Good night Daddy…Muack muack Daddy..” :)

Here’s a Mother’s Day gift from her. She said Happy Mother’s Day when she gave me the gift. Her teacher told her to say it to me. It’s the first time she said it. I was really touched.

When Hubby gave me a lovely card while Qianyi and I were still in bed early in the morning on Mother’s Day, I thanked the little one too. She grabbed the card and said Thank You… She thought it was for her..haha..:)

I received a gift from the therapy clinic too…:p

My darling girl woke up very early today to say Bye to Daddy. She said, “Daddy go to airport.. Daddy go to Japan.”

Received a sms from Daddy more than half an hour ago. He was going to board a big plane, flying to Los Angeles, just stopping by Tokyo.

Princess went back to sleep after watching Daddy leaving in a cab from our living room window.

I asked her, “Tomorrow morning we have to take a taxi to school. Or, do you want Mummy to drive?”

She frowned, “No no no no..go to taxi..” (Haha..I dare not drive anyway..)

We met up with my good friend MH last Fri. To make things easier, I introduced her as “Aunty Apple” to Qianyi. “Apple” is MH’s nickname.

I was right. “Aunty Apple” is very easy for the little one to remember. It’s been more than a year since we last visited Apple. Qianyi wasn’t shy at all. When I asked her to hold Apple’s hand, she did so. When we were having lunch, I told her to sit beside Apple. She was a good girl and willing to sit still most of the time.

When I told her to give Aunty Apple a kiss, she did it.

I thought she kissed her because she’s a woman and pretty..

I was wrong..

Our insurance agent dropped by yesterday. When he was leaving, I told Qianyi to kiss him, “Qianyi, kiss kiss Uncle Jonathan!” And, she kissed him.. This is a man and not handsome..haha..

Next time, I must ask her to kiss my dad when we go back to my hometown… :)

Was with Hubby at Parkway Parade’s Spectacle Hut to get a new pair of spectacles, sort of another gift for Mother’s Day :-) Managed to choose a nice Dolce & Gabbana frame. A bigger surprise was when we noticed a familiar face sitting next to us, checking out the sunglasses. It’s Mediacorp’s Edmund Chen! He was very nice, nodded at us and took keen interest in Qianyi. His wife Xiang Yun, was at the Jean Yip hairdresser next door. She looks good too.
