We attended Qianqian’s birthday party last Sunday. Qianqian got herself an English name a few months ago. Now, she prefers people to call her Shanna.
I explained to Qianyi that some of her friends have English names. I told her about her own English name too.
Me: What’s Qianqian’s English name?
Qianyi: Shanna
Me: What’s Luoyi’s English name?
Qianyi: Joelle
Me: What’s Qianyi’s English name?
Qianyi: Felicity
When she looked at Yaya’s pic that I drew for her, she said, ” Yaya’s Dorothy.”
Haha…she painted Yaya green, so she named her Dorothy! Dorothy is the green dinosaur in Wiggles.
This is our first time on Singapore Flyer. It’s a different experience from London Eye. We visited London Eye during daytime and it was drizzling. London looked breathtaking. We boarded Singapore Flyer at night. Night view was simply beautiful…
In London, we were sharing the capsule with other visitors. Here in Singapore, we were sharing it with our blogger friends only.
It’s the first time we met Yaya and her parents. Yaya’s one year younger than the two Monkey girls, Qianyi and Luoyi. She’s very adorable and not as active as the two older girls. Qianyi likes her new friend very much.
My darling girl is getting braver. She’s not scared of strangers at all. When we told her to give Yaya’s mum a kiss, she was really going to kiss her but the aunty was too shock to receive the kiss..haha..
After sending lunch box to the kindergarten last Fri, I took a cab to Conrad Hotel.
It’s been a long time since I last had a date with my man. It felt great having a peaceful meal without the little cheeky girl.
After having lunch, we went to Coffee Beans to enjoy more quality couple time.
When I showed our little princess the photos above this morning, she asked, “Where’s Qianyi?”
Haha… I told her she’s having lunch with her friends in school then. She still looked puzzled. So I told her I went to the bank to meet her daddy and we had lunch together.
Qianyi loves to say “Ask Qianyi (to do it)” or “Qianyi do it” recently.
When I pour water from the jug to the cup, she would want to do it herself.. If I try to help her to hold the jug, she would say, “I don’t want Mummy (to help).”
When it’s time to throw rubbish, she would follow me out and help carry a bag of rubbish. She would say, “One for Mummy, one for Qianyi.” She would wait for her turn to throw the rubbish into the chute.
When I vacuumed the house yesterday, she offered to help me too. But she gave up after a while…it’s not an easy task..haha..
