It was Qianyi’s first visit to the cinema last Sat. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1, 2 hr 26 min.
She enjoyed watching but she kept talking. Where’s Harry? Where’s Malfoy? How come so many Harry? Which one is real Harry…etc. Sometimes she would stand up. When we told her to sit down, she would say, “Sit down, don’t block!”
Yesterday, Hubby brought us to Kartright Speedway. He decided to give Go Karting a try and he planned to let the little one sit beside him. After buying the tickets, we were told that Qianyi couldn’t have the ride because she wasn’t wearing fully enclosed shoes!
Last night, I asked my little darling, “Where did you go today?” She said, “F1…Daddy’s driving the red car. Mine is yellow…it can not move…it’s stuck in the puddles…” 
Our little precious is our little boss too. We let her boss us around if she’s not too unreasonable.
Recently, she enjoys dancing with Daddy very much. Although Daddy is tired after a long day at work, he would still play his part to make the little one happy. She would ask him to carry and spin her around, turn her upside down or put her on his shoulder. She wanted me to join them the other night. She told Daddy to dance with Mummy while she was dancing with her soft toy, Minnie Mouse. She told Daddy to carry Mummy. So, Daddy lifted Mummy and turned around. “Daddy, put Mummy on your shoulder!” Wow, she thought I was a parrot! We told her that was impossible. She then had another idea, “Daddy, carry Mummy and chase me!” Oh no, that’s very tough…we told her we couldn’t do that either..haha…
When I put on my new belly dance costume to show them, she was very happy. She told me to sit down and started applying makeup on my face using her paint brushes. She enjoyed the imaginary play very much!
When it’s time to sleep, other kids would love a bedtime story but not my girl. What she wants is a body massage from Mummy. Sometimes, I thought she has fallen asleep when I was done with her legs. But when I stopped, she would say, “Back please…” When I was massaging her back the other night, I did it with only one hand, she complained, “Mummy, use two hands please!” When she’s still awake after a body massage, I would massage her face…
That’s my cute and demanding little boss…:)
Felicity’s school is celebrating Deepavali today. There’s presentation of dance items by the teachers and students and a parade of teachers and students in their costumes.
While I was chatting with Luoyi’s mummy via sms on Tue, I asked her where I could find Indian costume for the little one. She told me Luoyi has the costume and can lend it to me! Yeah, we don’t need to waste money for something our girl will wear once only!
The costume is a bit small and short for the tall girl. Last night, I let her see Luoyi’s old photo in the costume. She agreed with what I said, “It looks different. It’s longer on Luoyi, shorter on Felicity.”
