After staying at home for one week, my girl has gone back to school. What a relief!

During the week at home, she didn’t want to go out. She always said, “I want to stay at home with Mummy.”

Now I have 4-hour-break in the morning from Mon to Fri for 2 weeks..so nice!

Today she brought home some pasta salad she made in school. She told me, “It’s yummy…” After that, she said, “I don’t like to eat.” Yummy but cannot eat…haha…

We visited Qian Qian who lives at our previous condo yesterday. After spending 3 hours there, it was time to go home. She enjoyed playing with QQ’s toys very much, wasn’t willing to leave.

Once we were out of  QQ’s home, my darling girl told me  she wanted to go to her old home. She said, “Open the door…I want to take a look…Baby Qianyi’s inside.” That sounded funny but it was the first time she requested to see her old home.

The tenant just came back from shopping and she was surprised to see us standing outside her home. QY kept asking me to open the door so I told the tenant that we used to stay there. It’s a kind lady. She was happy to see the little one and invited us to her place but she warned us that she has two dogs inside.

When she opened the door, one lovely dog dashed out right away. QY was so scared and shouted, “I want to go home!”

I managed to take a glance at the living room. The TV cabinet is still at the same position. The sofa has been changed. It’s been 3 years since we moved out but everything seemed to be so familiar.

My little darling really gave me a surprise. I thought she has forgotten all about her old home.

Before Hubby went to London, he asked if Qianyi wanted to tag along. I told her she could visit the nursery. She would get to see the little boy. Both Hubby and I couldn’t recall her ex boyfriend’s name. So, I asked her, “What’s the handsome boy’s name?” She said, “Jasper.” Haha, she still remembered his name!

She got her first crush at 3, second one at 4. Her first sweetheart is Paulo…

When I asked her, “Paulo and Jasper, who is more handsome?”

Her answer is, “Jasper.”

My girl is single and available this year…because there’s no handsome boys in her current school.

My little darling decided to do some drawing when it’s time for me to take shower.

When I was out of the bathroom, she came to me happily. She told me, ” Qianyi’s drawing. Qianyi don’t (didn’t) doodle. Qianyi can do it!”

She looked so happy and went into the bathroom to wash her hands. I asked if she has finished drawing. She said, “Packed up already.”

What a good girl…:)

Qianyi was a bit cranky during bathtime. I showed her my bruised thumb to distract her. Here’s the funny conversation between us.

Me: Mummy’s thumb is very painful. I’m going to see doctor. You stay at home, ok?

QY: I want another mummy to stay at home with me.

Me: Another mummy? You have one mummy only.

QY: I want two mummy.

Me: Huh? Why do you want two mummies? One for Daddy, one for you?

QY: I want so many mummy!

Me: Hahaha..why do you want SO MANY mummies??

She laughed too…and her mood became better.

Hubby talked to us via video call right after he boarded the plane to London 3 days ago. He showed us a picture of Harry Potter Episode 6. He told the little one that he’s going to watch Harry Potter 6 on the plane. Qianyi was so excited to see it and said, “I want to buy Harry Potter No 6!” But the DVD is not out yet…:(

When Hubby called from London yesterday, Qianyi told him, “I want Harry Potter No 6 tonight.” Oh dear, “tonight”! When I asked her to talk to her daddy again, she said, “I want Harry Potter No 6 PLEASE…” Haha…

During the occupational therapy session yesterday, the therapist said my little princess talked like Harry Potter.

She loves to use her wand (whatever looks like a wand) to point at a door and say, “Alohomora”. This spell is used to open a locked door. Sometimes when we come back from school, I would pretend that I have forgotten to bring the keys, then she would use the spell to unlock the door..hahaha… She likes to point her wand to my specs and says “Occulus Repairo”…that’s a spell to repair glasses. She has loads of fun playing with the spells from Harry Potter.

She enjoys riding a broomstick too. This mummy has to “fly” a broomstick and play Quidditch with the little Miss Harry Potter…sigh…

Qianyi’s going to new school in Jan, 2010. We first visited the school last week, we left her at the playground while we had a tour around the school with the principal, an American woman. She loved the playground especially the swing. She said, “Just like London!” Some kids were having water play then. They were so happy to see Qianyi.

When we were leaving, a lovely caucasian girl kept asking the principal, “Is she coming to my class?” She gave Qianyi a hug.

We enrolled her in the school two days ago because it’s the best place for special education. We left her in the OT (occupational therapy) room this time while we were going through the enrolment procedure with the principal. When all was done, we picked her up from the OT room. The Occupational Therapist said she’s very sweet. Both he and the American principal couldn’t pronounce “Qianyi” properly. I asked her if she wanted the teachers to call her Qianyi or Felicity. She chose the latter.

So, she will be at school from 9am-3.30pm next year. I’m getting really excited because I will have more personal time!

She looked pretty cool when we told her she’s going to leave the current school and join the new school soon. She said, “Old school finish, next is new school. Say Bye to old friends and play with new friends.”

Hubby told me the little one was a very good girl when I wasn’t around. She’s very obedient. She ate, played and slept well when I was away. Sometimes she would talk to herself, “Where’s Mummy?…in Wai Gong’s house…”

When Hubby took her to Forum, she said, “Alvin and Felicity go shopping. Where’s Qiu Pei Jun?”

When I was back, I showed her the photos taken in Malaysia. She looked at my temporary curly hairstyle in the photos and said, “Mummy is Hermione!” Hermione from Harry Potter has curly hair.

I’m going back to my hometown early tomorrow morning to attend my friend’s wedding. I’m going back  on my own…just me…no Qianyi..no Hubby…

Will get to see many old friends tomorrow. I am really excited.

Me:  Mummy’s going to Wai Gong’s house tomorrow. Do you want to go?

QY: No, I want to stay at home with Daddy!

Me: What do you want to do with Daddy? Do you want to go shopping?

QY: I don’t want to go shopping! I want to sleep.

Me: You want to sleep whole day? So boring… Don’t you want to sleep with Mummy? Go to Wai Gong’s house..sleep with Mummy, ok?

QY: No, I want to sleep with Daddy.

Me: Go to Wai Gong’s house lah..play with Ah Mei jie-jie…

QY: No, I want to rest rest at home.

So, I’m coming back on Sunday… Hubby will cook for the little one, bathe her, brush her teeth and pat her to sleep… He’ll get to spend some really precious quality time with the little princess.
